THE LAST CHASE 6-10-17
When I go
it will not be with
trumpets
blaring clarion calls
to hills and valleys
summoning forth
the force to meet the foe
but like an old dog
walking
slowly
sniffing out a hare
beside still waters
wondering
if it’s up for one more
chase
